Yesterday, Mr. Rhodes and Mrs. Cromer combined their Agriculture and Family & Consumer Science class for "Farm to Plate" by making homemade tomato sauces with the middle school students!

Our October Phoenixes of the Month are Terri Lam and Jamie Eberly. Terri is the best custodian a school could ask for! Her favorite quote is, "Understand more, judge less."
Jamie is our science teacher and in his free time, he loves to run. Thank you both for all your hard work!

Yesterday Mr. Eberly and Mr. Carte took some students on a trip to Washington, D.C. to watch a Washington Nationals baseball game. Students rode the metro into D.C. and learned how to read the train map and were able to navigate to get back home. The students and teachers had a great time exploring the city and enjoying the game.

The middle school students have been working hard in their garden over the spring and last week they shared their bounty of kale with faculty and staff!

RockBurg Feeds Network is a collaborative effort of many non-profits and service providers to provide food to families experiencing food insecurity. Feel free to share this flyer.

Teachers and students worked together over the past week to weed, mulch, plant, and beautify our flower beds in the parking lot and around the school. Teamwork makes the dream work and the outcome looks great!
