Week #29- March 16th

Consistency is Key!

Since February 2nd, excluding conferences, we have had 5 full weeks of school.  Over the course of those 5 weeks, we have seen improvement in attendance, behaviors, and the overall flow of the day.  Consistency allows students to feel more comfortable and confident, as they know what to expect and can fully participate in classroom activities and lessons. Regular attendance also helps students better understand expectations, build positive relationships with classmates and teachers, and stay on pace with important instruction. When students miss school, they often miss key parts of lessons and the natural rhythm of the classroom. Thank you for continuing to prioritize daily attendance and partnering with us to support your child’s growth, learning, and success at school.

Construction Update: Work on the kindergarten/first grade bathrooms made tremendous progress this week. The bathrooms are set to reopen after Spring Break. As you have likely seen, there was progress on the additional classrooms this week. The floors have been poured and walls have been started. Today, doorsets were placed. Some welding in the ceiling structures in the 5th grade hallway and gym area will occur during evening hours over the next few weeks.

Students and staff continue to handle the construction with grace and patience. Thank you!
