Here We Come Reading Month!
MES is gearing up for Reading Month! Students will be logging daily reading minutes as they progress through their ‘hike’ of the Appalachian Trail. Along the way, they will hear facts about the states they are passing through as they work their way to Maine. We have linked some more information below if you are interested in learning more! Be on the lookout for some ‘trail magic!’
We have also linked the SignupGenius for any volunteers interested in signing up to run our fact fluency cart! This is a great opportunity to make a difference!

Construction Update: Mechanical rough-in was completed this week in the areas of the new classrooms. Final prep is underway and the plan is to pour the concrete in the next two weeks. While the construction team will attempt to work around the arrival and dismissal schedule, there could potentially be an impact of traffic when the concrete trucks roll in. If I know in enough time to send a message I will.
The masonry crews will begin building walls in the renovated bathrooms next week. That work is on track. Moving right along!!!

The deadline for ordering MES yearbooks is March 28. We do not order extras for sale at a later time, so please consider ordering now.
