Week #24- February 9, 2026
Calling Volunteers!
As we move into the second semester, students are working diligently and preparing for end of the year testing. One piece we wanted to implement to support fact fluency was to have a volunteer or two utilize our “Fact Fluency Cart.” We have built a schedule for the morning and afternoon to accommodate any support we can get to help students develop automaticity in either addition/subtraction facts in K-2, or multiplication fact fluency in grades 3-5. The cart is ready to use with flash cards and a schedule to follow. If you have time to volunteer here at MES, we would love to hear from you! Construction Update: Work continues in the Northeast corner of the Kindergarten hallway. If the weather holds, the block work is scheduled to start this coming week on the addition.

The deadline for ordering MES yearbooks is March 28. We do not order extras for sale at a later time, so please considering ordering now.

Attendance Tip/Reminder: Use Positive Language: Instead of “Do you feel like going to school?” say, “It’s time for school; let’s go learn something new!”
