Week #9- October 13, 2025

REMINDER: No School for Students on Monday, October 13

Choose Kindness!

This month, we are focusing on the power of kindness. Small acts of kindness, like offering a smile, including a new friend at recess, or helping a classmate, can make a big difference in creating a safe and welcoming school for everyone.

At MES, we love to recognize students who go above and beyond to show kindness and strong character through our PAW Awards. These awards highlight students who demonstrate our character pillars: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. We are so proud of our students who make our school a better place each day by showing these important values.

Together, we can all make kindness the norm and ensure all students are seen, heard, and valued!

Other Announcements/Reminders from the MES Office:

  • October Menus

  • Cafeteria Note: …If the guest (usually a parent or family member) brings outside food into the cafeteria, the student should only invite one student to join the table. If they are eating cafeteria food, then the student can invite two guests. This will allow enough seating at the guest tables, reduce conflict, and help us monitor food sharing.
