Week #8- October 6, 2025

Bullying Prevention and Awareness Month

We are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and positive environment for every student. During the month of October, our classrooms will focus on lessons and activities that build kindness, respect, and empathy. Students will learn what bullying is, how to stand up for themselves and others, and how to seek help from a trusted adult when needed.

How you can help at home:

  • Talk openly with your child about kindness, respect, and treating others the way they want to be treated.

  • Encourage empathy by asking, “How would you feel if…?” questions when talking about real-life situations.

  • Model positive behavior:  kids learn by watching how adults treat others.

  • Remind them to tell a teacher, counselor, or trusted adult if they ever feel unsafe or see someone else being treated unfairly.

Together, we can ensure that every student feels seen, heard, and valued at school and beyond.
