MES Celebrates Our Local Heroes

3/19/2018

McGaheysville Elementary had a “Hero Celebration Day” where local fire fighters, law enforcement and rescue squad workers were invited to MES to go on a “Hero Walk” through the hallways and then they enjoyed a delicious breakfast which honored
these selfless and caring men and women!! What a beautiful way to honor people in our community!! The children at MES were so excited to see the heroes as they walked through the hallways and respectfully gave them cheers and handmade cards. McGaheysville Elwmentary also donated over $550 to the volunteer fire department and rescue squad in McGaheysville that we had raised at our Chick Fil A Spirit nights.
